I love this piece. When we use language in our visual art, I find that it adds so much dimension. Of course, this is coming from and English lit addict so words are fascinating for me. They can be used in a variety of creative ways.
You're right, that's awesome. I don't really know the different between an altered book versus a journal (I suppose the journals are usually more about you specifically), but as someone in love with words, this work is exciting!
